What Are You Expecting?

       "Great Expectation Gets Great Results!"    -     As a believer, we know that God has your best interests at heart, and as His Son said, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:23). Begging doesn't produce results. Pleading doesn't do it either. Need won't move the hand of God. Belief is the currency of God, and it's what He has chosen to be the vehicle for our results. There is a power in belief - a force we call faith, and it begins with having great expectations.

       So, what are you expecting God to do in your life? Are you aiming your faith in a focused way? Great results will happen if you believe that they will happen - this is what Jesus was saying in Mark 9:23. So, all this year, we are going to continually focus on the power of belief - on choosing to live with great expectation in life. The world may tell us not to "get our hopes up," but Jesus says the opposite. And He takes it one step further when He talks about faith and tells us that ALL things are possible to those who believe. So, what are you believing today? What are you saying on a consistent basis? What is your mindset? What do you think is possible for your life? And where are you limiting yourself by limiting God?

       Don't take Mark 9:23 for granted just because you may have heard it often before - don't complicate it. Just let the simplicity of Jesus' revolutionary statement about the power of belief sink deep into your mind and spirit. Realize that when Jesus shared this truth, He was giving us all a divine secret. And if we take it into our heart and use it, it will help us to live better lives spiritually, physically, financially or in any other area that we decide to apply the truth and believe. There is no area that is impossible for God to make better if we listens to His Word and simply believe. Great expectation gets great results!

WHAT IS POSSIBLE

        So, what is possible for your life? ALL things are possible if you believe they are possible. Can you change even "impossible," negative situations you may be dealing with, too? YES, Jesus says you can, if you believe you can. In fact, nothing is impossible with God because He is not only our Creator, but He is our Provider Healer, Ever-Present-Help, All-Sufficient and All Bountiful Supplier, and He is our Shepherd I this life. He's our Guide. So, if He said it, you should just flat believe it! Can unbelief ever fit into God's promises? NO, it can't - all the promises of God are "yea" and "amen" to only one group... those who believe.

       Believing is power, and we are all growing as believers. Whether you are new to the things of God of have been a believer for many years, if you are still breathing, you can still grow and expect great, new things from your faith. Stretch yourself. Expand your view of what God can do, and what He can do through you.

Meet My Friend - Part 2

     Acts 17:26 (KJV) states that:
        "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;"
     The whole race was in Adam's loins when e sinned. He was the spiritual, moral and physical head of the race. You see, he was our representative. He did not act as a single person but as the whole human race. When he fell he sinned for all of us. When God contracted with him, it was a contract for the whole race. The covenant was blessings if he obeyed God and curses if he sinned. Well, guess what?? He sinned by disobeying God and eating from the "tree".
     Death passed upon all men and women because of Adam's (disobedience) sin. Through Adam's sin, a sentence of death without the promise of resurrection, passed upon all men. But by obedience of Jesus taking man's place; the sentence was completely cancelled and original dominion restored. 
     You are considered a sinner through Adam, but not by his personal sins. However, we are considered righteous through Jesus, but not by His personal acts of righteousness.
     Those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior, receive free pardon of all offenses and grace abounds and reigns in your life. As Jesus died completely, those of us who profess Christianity must be completely separated and saved from sin having no more connection with it.
     No matter how bad you think your life is or was, God Heaven and God isn't slack regarding His promises to and for us.
     He is not willing for any of His creations to perish or go to Hades but he would like all (like yourself) to come to repentance.
     2 Peter 3:9 says:
        "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promises, as some 
        people think of slowness; on the contrary, he is patient 
        with you; for it is hot his purpose that anyone should be                    destroyed, but that everyone should turn form his sins." 
     Romans 5:8 states that
        "God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

God so loved us that He gave His only begotten son, just for you!
Would you give or have your only child killed for your neighbor or the person next to you?? I don't think so...

I have a friend named Jesus. Would you like to meet my friend? He certainly would like to meet you.

If you believe that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead, then say aloud:
          Father, I come to you today to thank you for all your
          blessings. I (say your name) come to you today with 
          a sincere heart requesting forgiveness for my sins. I 
          accept Jesus as my Lord and savior. I believe in the 
          resurrection of Jesus Christ and I ask that my sins be
          forgiven.      
                             Amen.

Meet My Friend -  Part 1

     Many of you may consider yourself a good person because you give money to your church or you may go to church on Sundays. You consider yourself a good person, maybe because you have not murdered anyone or maybe because you have not stolen anything from anyone, but these things alone do not make you a "good person". God's commandment says, you must love God and your neighbor. 
     John 13:34 (CJSB) says:
        "I am giving you a new command: that you keep on loving              each other. In the same way that I have loved you, you are 
        also to keep on loving each other." 
     1 John 4:21
        "...this commandment have we from him. Tat he who loveth
        god love his brother also."
     Some of you do not love God and you certainly do not love others and it shows in your actions and words.
     Christ died for you and I. No he just wasn't placed on the tree called "The Cross". He was beatned with a whip that had several strands and each strand had chards of glass, nails, maybe even pieces of bone intwined in the straps. Imagine, being beaten with something like this. You wouldn't have skin left on your body and most people living today would have died during the beating. Nontheless, He went through this for us.
     Romans 5:12-21 (KJV) says:
        "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and
        death by sin: and so death passed upon all men, for that all 
        have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but 
        sin is not imputed when there is no law. Neverthless death 
        reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not       
        sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is 
        the figure of Him that was to come. But not as the offense,
        so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one 
        many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift
        by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath 
        abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned,
        so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation,
        but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. For
        if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more 
        they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
        righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ.)
            Therefore, as by sth offense of one judgment came upon
        all men to condemnation: even so by the righteousness 
        of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification
        of life. For a by one man's disobedience many were made 
        sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made
        righteous. Moreover, the law entered, that the offense 
        might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much
        more abound. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even
        so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal 
        life by Jesus Christ our Lord."

     You see, Christ died for us while we were ungodly, sinners and enemies of God. Jesus (Yeshua) saved us by His death. The 
consequences of Jesus' obedience extends as far as Adam's disobedience. Since we are Gentiles and descendants of Adam, we partook of his sin and its consequences, so we also are free to partake of the redemption of Christ. From Adam all men derived their beings.
     Acts 17:26 (CJSB),
        "From one man He made every nation living on the 
        entire surface of the earth, and he fixed the limits
        of their territories and the period when they would
        flourish."
